Welcome to Gogebic County Fair.com
Well, the 92nd Gogebic County Fair is in the record books, and it's all over but the clean-up and paperwork. And we believe that the fair board will take a nice well deserved rest after this one. Although any one who has been around the fair over the last several years knows that the fair board won't be sitting long before making plans for next years event.
We are currently working to put the new 2013 Photo Gallery together, and if you have any photos or videos from this years fair, we'd love to see them and share them with others. Just email them or send them to us via our facebook page. We have a bunch of great photos, but would love to add to them with yours! Send them in and Thank you for sharing your fair experience.
Did you love the fair this year? Things you would like to see? Things you didn't care for? We know it's not easy pleasing everyone, but we do try to please as many as we can. With help from the public, we feel that the fair can only get better. Please take a moment to fill out the online survey or email us and make a suggestion or comment, good or bad. The fair board will use this information to make changes for next year. Help your Gogebic County Fair be the best that it can be!
The Fair Board sends out a great big THANK YOU to our sponsor "ROCKAUTO.COM" The have come out in a big way and helped out the fair!
Check out ROCKAUTO.COM for all of your automotive needs! Click on their logo (on the left)
The Friends of the Fair is selling 50/50 tickets for the upcoming fair. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from any Gogebic County Fair Board Member, Abelman Clothing of Bessemer, MI or Auvinen Service Center in Ironwood.
Make sure you buy your tickets early and often, the more that is raised, the more you can make! This is a great opportunity to support the fair and perhaps yourself!
Drawing will be held on Sunday Night
in the Grandstand
One of the changes at this years fair will be an increase in the gate admission. The price will be the same $10.00 per person/per day for Thursday, but now...Friday, Saturday and Sundays gate prices will be $12.00 per day /per person. Children ages 3 and under still get in free each day.
The price at the gate has not been increased since 2008 and to cover rising costs, the fair board had no choice but to raise the entry price slightly. Interested in a Season Pass, they are now $30.00 valid for the four days of admission. Season Passes are available at the fair office starting in July.
The white little fair office building on the top of the hill is no longer the Secretary's office. The Fair Board has decided to move the office to the former CVB office in the Multi -Purpose building on the west end of the fairgrounds. To access the office by vehicle, enter the grounds at the west gate (across from the Cedar's Motel) and you can't miss it. It will be the first big beige building that you see!
Stop down and get your Season tickets or register your entries with Tina who is now working from the new office. You can call her at 906-932-2700
