Planning is well underway for the 2009 Gogebic County Fair. We are currently working on finishing the entertainment venue. Harness racing will return for two days, and the Friday night Grandstand Show will be Country
recording artist "Buddy Jewell".
Buddy was the first winner of the
Nashville Star program on the
USA Network. We are excited to
welcome Buddy Jewell to our stage.

At many fairs, you pay at the gate, pay at the midway, pay for the Grandstand Concerts, pay for watching the Motocross or Mud Run....it can get very expensive!
At the Gogebic County Fair, we have an "All Inclusive Price Program". When entering the fair, and you pay your $10.00 gate admission, (ages 3 and up) a wristband is placed on your wrist and you can enjoy the fair all day.
Saturday Night Music in the Grandstand has been set. You might not recognize the names, but you will recognize the hits!

As many of the returning surfers know, we try and update the fair website and let everyone know what is happening with the Gogebic County Fair. We don't always get the time to update as much as we can, but now we have a "Latest News" page on our site. Click on the "Latest News" link on the Navigation Menu at the upper left hand side of the page. This is our new page dedicated in posting the latest news and information to the website. For changes, and news. . . .this is where you will find the latest information first. Check it out and keep informed. Do you have something about the fair you would like everyone to know? INDIANHEAD AMUSEMENTS AT 2009 FAIR
Many changes have come to the Gogebic County Fair in 2009, one change is a new carnival in the midway. Indianhead Amusements will be featuring the rides at the 2009 fair. Indianhead Amusements from Spooner, WI. are scheduled to bring 14 rides. The Rock-o-plane, Merry-Go-Round, Bumper Cars, Tilt a Whirl, The Zipper, Merry Mixer and others. Even with the a new carnival, the "Free Ride Program" will still be available with your daily paid gate admission of $10.00 per day.
