Welcome to Gogebic County Fair.com
The signs of winter is finally leaving the fairgrounds, and the Gogebic County Fair Board has been hard at work planning the upcoming 2013 Gogebic County Fair.
This year marks the 92nd year of this annual event. Along with the traditional fair events such as Harness Racing, the High School Challenge, the many Horse Shows, the variety of animals in the barns and the great fair food, there are some new attractions at the fair.
The Fair Board is proud to announce the performance of Country Music Artist "Steve Holy" in the grandstand on Friday night, with opening act "Vince Anthony". and don't miss the return of Horse Pulling. "The Empty Handed Vagabonds" a new group to the fair will entertain on the small stage.
There is still a lot to do, and the board is working hard on finalizing contracts and events for this year. As things are finalized, we will post them here on the website. Feel free to check back from time to time and mark your calendars and plan to attend the 92nd Annual Gogebic County Fair!
Hope to see you there!

The Fair Board sends out a great big THANK YOU to our sponsor "ROCKAUTO.COM" The have come out in a big way and helped out the fair!

The Friends of the Fair is selling 50/50 tickets for the upcoming fair. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from any Gogebic County Fair Board Member, Abelman Clothing of Bessemer, MI or Auvinen Service Center in Ironwood.
Make sure you buy your tickets early and often, the more that is raised, the more you can make! This is a great opportunity to support the fair and perhaps yourself!
Drawing will be held on Sunday Night
in the Grandstand

One of the changes at this years fair will be an increase in the gate admission. The price will be the same $10.00 per person/per day for Thursday, but now...Friday, Saturday and Sundays gate prices will be $12.00 per day /per person. Children ages 3 and under still get in free each day.
The price at the gate has not been increased since 2008 and to cover rising costs, the fair board had no choice but to raise the entry price slightly. Interested in a Season Pass, they are now $30.00 valid for the four days of admission. Season Passes are available at the fair office starting in July.
